These have been labeled as “efficiency measures.” But we know better: This is unchecked executive power, bypassing Congress and putting lives at risk.
Congress holds the power of the purse under Article I of the Constitution. These programs were funded, budgeted, and approved. If they can be canceled by executive decree, then Congress isn’t in control anymore.
